<br />DES.ek 2/19/69' <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RE..e.OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />N o. ...5-9 I 3 <br /> <br />Fee ~'1 ..,,~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING GASOLINE <br />REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ~ARCH 1, 1969 THROUGH <br />JUNE 30, 1970; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFORi AND, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5892, adopted February 3, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of gasoline <br /> <br />for,the period March 1, 1969 through June 30, 1970, in connection <br /> <br />with the operation of City vehicles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ATLANTIC RICHFIELD COMPANY is the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to said Atlantic Richfield Company and reject all other <br /> <br />bids received; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE i <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOTNS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Atlantic Richfield Company for the furnishing <br /> <br />of Richfield gasoline is hereby accepted at the prices set forth <br /> <br />in its proposal dated February 14, 1969, as follows: <br /> <br />(a) (Regular) First-grade non-premium, at a maximum price <br />of $.1905 per gallon (Tank Wagon) <br /> <br />(Tank Wagon price is for single tank wagon delivery <br />of 400 gallons or more. For tank wagon delivery of <br />less than 400 gallons, the following differentials <br />shall apply: 200-399 gallons, add $.01 per gallon; <br />40-199 gallons, add $.03 per gallon) <br /> <br />(b) (Premium) Premium-type ethyl, at a maximum price of <br />$.2095 per gallon (Truck and trailer at full or legal <br />carrying capacity) . <br /> <br />Said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />Any and all irregularities in said bid are hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the furnishing of said gasoline other than the bid mentioned <br /> <br />in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
