<br />{ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />JHT.ek l/23/69 <br /> <br />RE~OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />N O. .!1-P2 , <br /> <br />ORIGINAL' <br /> <br />.Jt:iN27 ~ <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON PORTION OF PUBLIC ... <br />STREET IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS <br />AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA: SETTING <br />TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR <br />OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND, ORDERING POSTING <br />OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion of Douglas Avenue in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, dedicated as a public street is not needed for <br /> <br />present or prospective street purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends <br /> <br />to vacate and abandon said portion of Douglas Avenue pursuant <br /> <br />to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code: <br /> <br />NOW' , THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a portion of Douglas Avenue, as hereinafter described, <br /> <br />and elects to proceed with such vacation and abandonment pur- <br /> <br />suant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The portion of Douglas Avenue to be vacated is as <br /> <br />indicated on the plat on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />entitled "Abandonment of a Portion of Douglas Avenue," dated <br /> <br />January 9, 1969, and together with the easement excepted and <br /> <br />reserved therefrom, is more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />All that certain real property situate in the City of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, <br />more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />A portion of Douglas Avenue, as shown on that certain <br />map entitled "Redwood Industrial Tract No.2," filed in <br />the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, <br />in Vol. 35 of Maps, at pages 3, 4, 5 and 6, on April 30, <br />1952, being more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at a point in the southerly line of said Douglas <br />Avenue, 60.00 feet in width, said point also being the <br />most northwesterly corner of Lot 3, Block 7, as shown <br />
