STREET IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA: SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND, ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION WHEREAS, a portion of Douglas Avenue in the City of Redwood City, dedicated as a public street is not needed for present or prospective street purposes; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to vacate and abandon said portion of Douglas Avenue pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code: NOW' , THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate a portion of Douglas Avenue, as hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with such vacation and abandonment pur- suant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code. 2. The portion of Douglas Avenue to be vacated is as indicated on the plat on file in the office of the City Clerk, entitled "Abandonment of a Portion of Douglas Avenue," dated January 9, 1969, and together with the easement excepted and reserved therefrom, is more particularly described as follows: All that certain real property situate in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows: A portion of Douglas Avenue, as shown on that certain map entitled "Redwood Industrial Tract No.2," filed in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, in Vol. 35 of Maps, at pages 3, 4, 5 and 6, on April 30, 1952, being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the southerly line of said Douglas Avenue, 60.00 feet in width, said point also being the most northwesterly corner of Lot 3, Block 7, as shown
