BETTS AND ASSOCIATES FOR FINANCIAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX) WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes a capital improve- ment program for the construction of public improvements and facilities, including a City Hall and related facilities (herein- after referred to as lithe project"); and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires financial consult- ing services in connection with the planning for, and acquisition' and construction of, the project; and WHEREAS, Bert A. Betts and Associates, financial consultants, has represented to the City of Redwood City that said firm is experienced in performing financial consulting services, and qualified to perform such services for the city of Redwood City for the purpose of financing the acquisition and construction of the project, and has proposed to render such services for the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and the firm of Bert A. Betts and Associates for financial consulting services in connection with the proposed capital improvement program for the construction of the above mentioned improvements, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and authorize its execution; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Financial Consulting Services (Civic Center Complex)," by and between the City of Redwood City and the firm of Bert A. Betts and Associates,
