DES:yc:l2/13/68 I' ORIGINAL RE~OLUT1.0N N o. sl..ri DEe 16 lIU RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR ADDITIONAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING SERVICES - UNDERGROUNDING OF PUBLIC UTILITY FACILITIES, WOODSIDE EXPRESSWAY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Carl P. Martineau, Jr., & Associates, Consulting Electrical Engineers, have heretofore entered into an agreement entitled "Agreement for Consulting Services (Electrical Engineering-Undergrounding) Woodside Express- way," dated February 8, 1968, for certain electrical engineering and- consulting services relating to the undergrounding of public utility facilities in connection with the proposed improvement and construction of Woodside Expressway in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, Carl P. Martineau, Jr., & Associates and the City of Redwood City have performed their respective duties and obligations under the aforementioned agreement; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires additional electrical engineering and consulting services based upon the conclusions and recommendations of Carl P. Martineau, Jr., & Associates under the aforesaid prior agreement, including consulting services necessary or convenient for the establishment of an underground utility district in connection with the undergrounding of public utilities aforesaid; and WHEREAS, Carl P. Martineau, Jr., & Associates has represented to the City of Re~wood City that it is qualified to perform the aforesaid additional engineering and consulting _services; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Carl P. Martineau, Jr., & Associates desire to enter into an agreement for said Carl P. Martineau, Jr., & Associates to furnish City with the aforesaid additional engineering and consulting services;
