J. SIHMS, an individual doing bus'iness as <br /> <br />C. J. Simms Co., Cupertino, californi~, is the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said contract to said C. J. Simms; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO\'lS: <br /> <br />1. That the bid of C. J. SI~~S, an individual, doing business <br /> <br />as C. J. Simms Co., in the total amount of thirty-three thousand <br /> <br />eighty-eight and 30/100 dollars ($33,088.30), more or less, <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated December 12, <br /> <br />1968, for the performance of the work necessary to accomplish <br /> <br />weed eradication by spraying and disking in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, California, in accordance with the specifications approved <br /> <br />by Resolution No. 5839, be and the same is hereby accepted. Any <br /> <br />'irregularities or informalities that may be contained in said bid <br /> <br />are hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. That the City Manager be and he.is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to enter into and execute on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City that certain agreement entitled "Agreement'l (form <br />
