RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- N .O~ jS'+fD DfC~ .... .". ~ RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY GIYING NOTICE OF, AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO, INITIArrE ON ITS or,m NOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY; DESCRIBING SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE NANE II EDGEWOOD ROAD At-.cTNEXArrION No.1 II ; GIVING ITS REASONS FOR DESIRING SAID ANNEXATION; R~KING CERTAIN FINDINGS RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS; AND, GIVING NOTICE OF THE TIME AND PLACE SAID COUNCIL WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO SAID ANNEXATION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local 'Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, California, a written description of a proposal to annex to the City of Re4wood City all that territory which is herein- after described; and, WHEREAS, said Council has received evidence showing that, and finds that, said Local Agency Formation Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report to said Council upon said annexation proposal,' all as required by law, and that said Commission has approved said proposed annexation; and, WHEREAS, this Council further has received evidence showing and finds: (1) That said t~rritory is situate immediately adjacent to and touch~s and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of Redwood City; and, (2) That less than twelve registered voters presently reside within said territory and that said territory is therefore uninhabited; 1 - ~
