<br />.L.l/2U/b~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL' <br />. 0fC i_ .. <br /> <br />RE~OLUT1.0N <br /> <br />N o. ..s-S'4S <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY GIVING NOTICE OF, AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION <br />TO, INITIATE ON ITS OfNN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO <br />ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY; <br />DESCRIBING SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE <br />NAME II LAUREL WAY ANNEXATION II ; <br />GIVING ITS REASONS FOR DESIRING SAID ANNEXATION: <br />MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS: <br />AND, GIVING NOTICE OF THE TI~ffi AND PLACE SAID COUNCIL <br />WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO SAID ANNEXATION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local <br /> <br />Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />California, a written description of a proposal to annex <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City all that territory which is herein- <br /> <br />after described: and, <br /> <br />k' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Council has received evidence showing that, <br /> <br />and finds that, said Local Agency Formation Commission has <br /> <br />prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report to said Council <br /> <br />upon said annexation proposal,' all as required by law, and <br /> <br />that said Commission has approved said proposed annexation: <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />r' <br /> <br />W~REAS, this Council further has received evidence <br /> <br />showing and finds: <br /> <br />(I) That 'said t~rritory is situate immediately adjacent <br /> <br />to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City <br /> <br />of'Redwood City; and, <br /> <br />'"(2) That less than twelve registered voters presently <br /> <br />'reside withir:-. said'territory and that said territory is <br /> <br />therefore uninhabited; <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />\ -~:...,.,. <br />
