<br />.~" <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:ll/27/68 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. s-pf y.. <br /> <br />OR/GINA~ OJ ]Il <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF SEVEN <br />LATEST MODEL AUTOMOBILES <br /> <br />WHEREAS,' pursuant to Resolution No. 5823, adopted November 4, <br /> <br />1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of seven <br /> <br />latest model, 8 cylinder, four-door sedan automobiles to be used <br /> <br />for municipal purposes: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of three of the <br /> <br />above mentioned automobiles (consisting of Bid Items 1, 3 and 5), <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to E-Z Davies Chevrolet for said bid items; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, FERRIS MILES DODGE, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of four of the <br /> <br />above mentioned automobiles (consisting of Bid Items 2; 4, 6 and <br /> <br />7), and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to Ferris Miles Dodge for said bid items; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of E-Z Davies Chevrolet in the total net <br /> <br />delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Two Thousand <br /> <br />Ninety-four and 99/100 Dollars ($2,094.99), for the furnishing <br /> <br />of one latest model, 8 cylinder, four-door sedan automobile, <br /> <br />consisting of Bid Item I, in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br />therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said automobile. <br />
