DES:yc:12/2/68 RESOLUT.!ON N o. 5'1'" 3 Ok?JGtNAL RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF FIVE ONE-HALF TON PICKUP TRUCKS, ONE ONE-TON DUMP TRUCK, TWO CARRYALLS, AND THREE FOUR-DOOR SEDAN AUTOMOBILES WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5815, adopted October 28, 1968, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of the following equipment to be used for municipal purposes: (a) Five one-half ton pickup trucks (Bid Items 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 ) (b) One one-ton dump truck (Bid Item 6) (c) Two one-half ton trucks (suburban carryall type) (Bid Items 7 and 8) (d) Three, latest model, four-door sedan automobiles (Bid Items 9, 10 and 11) and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and WHEREAS, FERRIS MILES DODGE, Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of the equipment under Bid Items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Ferris Miles Dodge for said bid items; and WHEREAS, E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of the equipment under Bid Items 6, 7, 8 and 10, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to E-Z Davies Chevrolet for said bid items; and WHEREAS, ELY MOTOR CO., Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of the equipment under Bid Item 11, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Ely Motor Co. for said bid item;
