Sg3f <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE WEED <br />ERADICATION PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Code Chapter 14 provides fora <br /> <br />procedure whereby the eradication of undesirable vegetation in <br /> <br />the City is to be accomplished; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to accomplish such weed abatement program <br /> <br />within the City of Redwood City, it is necessary and desirable <br /> <br />that certain spraying and disking work be performed for the <br /> <br />control and eradication of undesirable vegetation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, specifications for such work have been prepared <br /> <br />by the City Engineer; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. Those certain specifications entitled "Specifications <br /> <br />and General Requirements to Bidders for Weed Eradication - 1969, <br /> <br />Redwood City, California," a copy of which is presently on file <br /> <br />in the office of the Department of Public Works, are hereby <br /> <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the performance of the work of weed <br /> <br />eradication in accordance with the above mentioned specifications <br /> <br />therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain <br /> <br />Notice to Contractors as set forth in the above mentioned <br /> <br />specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
