S. COAST GUARD AUXILIARY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns, operates and main- <br /> <br />t.ains a police patrol boat, named the "Mickey C"; and <br /> <br />WHERR~S, Redwood City Flotilla #46, united states Coast.Guard <br /> <br />Auxiliary is a California non-profit corporation interested in <br /> <br />the furtherance of water safety and search and rescue operations; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Flotilla represents that it is experienced and <br /> <br />knowledgeable in the field of operation, ma.intenance and use of <br /> <br />vlater safety and rescue patrol boats i and <br /> <br />WHERR~S, 'said 'Flotilla has requested to use, operate and <br /> <br />main-'cain the I'Hickey CII for the operation of safety patrols and <br /> <br />search and rescue missions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this council has had presented to it an agreenent <br /> <br />bet,,"een t he City and the Flotilla for such operation by the <br /> <br />Flotilla; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to'approve said agreement: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE, IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CI TY OF RED~'lOOD CITY I <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Operation <br /> <br />of Police Patrol Boat" (form dated 10/2/68) for the operation of <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />the City's police patrol boat by Redwood City Flotilla #46, <br /> <br />united States Coast Guard Auxiliary is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2.
