<br />DES.ek 9/19/68 <br /> <br />,#y. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />StP 23 '6& <br /> <br />R E E. 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />001"'1 ~dAL <br />nl\..l Ii <br />N 0 .S- 7 g 1- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEI~NT BETWEEN STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO DESIGNATED IMPROYEl'lENrrS AT <br />INTERSECTION OF MIDDLEFIELD ROAD WITH STATE HIGffivAY <br />ROUTE 114 (WOODSIDE ROAD EXPRESSWAY) <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the state of California, through its Department <br /> <br />of Public Works, Division of Highways, and the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City contemplate certain improvements to be made at the inter- <br /> <br />section of Middlefield Road with State Highway Roote 114 (Woodside <br /> <br />Road Expressway) consisting of the modification of the existing <br /> <br />traffic control signal system, and widening and channelization <br /> <br />improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS,. a cooperative agreement between the State of <br /> <br />California and the City of Redwood City setting forth the terms <br /> <br />and conditions under which said improvem~nts shall be constructed, <br /> <br />financed, and maintained, has been presented to this Council, <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire.of this Council to approve <br /> <br />the same and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NO~'l, THEREF ORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RED~'lOOD CITY I <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement," by and <br /> <br />between the State of California, Department of Public Works, <br /> <br />Division of Highways, and the City of Redwood City, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning <br /> <br />the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />M a Y.9 r is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on <br /> <br />behalf of the city of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
