<br />. <br /> <br />DES:al 8/26/68 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />W9 ~6 .~ <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />0..., ' :~. : " " ,'" L <br />\ tC \J n ''iJ-\ <br /> <br />RESOLUT.!ON <br /> <br />N O. 5?7/ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF SAN MATEO RELATING, <br />TO IMPROVEMENT OF PORTION OF BAY ROAD, COUNTY <br />HIGHWAY NO. 32-D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section l7l0 of the California Streets and Highways <br /> <br />Code authorizes a city and county to agree that the City shall <br /> <br />construct and repair designated county highways or portions <br /> <br />thereof within the unincorporated territory of the county, <br /> <br />the cost thereof to be paid by the county to the city; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion of Bay Road between the intersection <br /> <br />thereof with 3rd Avenue and Florence Street, extending a length <br /> <br />of approximately 2,700 feet, is a county highway within the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo, and the repair of said portion of said <br /> <br />Bay Road is necessary and desirable; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council <br /> <br />by and between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City providing for the repair of said portion of Bay Road by <br /> <br />the City and the reimbursement of the cost thereof by the <br /> <br />County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement, Improvement <br /> <br />of Portion of Bay Road - County Highway No. 32-D" by and between <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City, a copy of <br />which is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to <br /> <br />which copy reference is made for full particulars concerning <br /> <br />the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the city of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
