S170 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />RESURFACING OF DESIGNATED STREETS: AND, AUTHORIZING <br />CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has prepared plans and <br /> <br />specifications for the resurfacing of portions of Fernside Street, <br /> <br />from McGarvey to Harcross: McGarvey Avenue, from Farm Hill Boulevard <br /> <br />to Roosevelt Avenue: Whipple Avenue,' from Veterans Boulevard to <br /> <br />Allerton; Maple Street, from El camino Real to Southern Pacific <br /> <br />Railroad right of way: Hudson Street, from Jefferson Avenue to <br /> <br />Roosevelt Avenue: Marshall Street, from Walnut Street to Chestnut <br /> <br />Street; Bay Road, from 5th Avenue to Marsh Road; Alameda de las <br /> <br />pulgas, from Eaton Avenue to northerly City Limits; Rolison Road, <br /> <br />from Marsh Road to 2nd Avenue: and Douglass Avenue, Middlefield <br /> <br />Road to Spring Street: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Ci~y of Redwood City has reviewed <br />said plans and specifications and desires to approve the same and <br /> <br />authorize and direct the City Clerk to call for bids for the re- <br /> <br />surfacing of the above mentioned streets; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That those certain above mentioned plans and specifications <br /> <br />entitled "General Specifications and Special Provisions for the <br /> <br />Construction of Street Resurfacing, FY 1968-l969, in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, California," copies of which are presently on file <br /> <br />in the office of the Director of Public Works, to which copies <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms <br /> <br />and conditions thereof, are hereby approved, and the City Clerk is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to call for bids for the above <br /> <br />mentioned resurfacing program. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
