<br />. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />57/0 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, PROFILES, <br />DETAILED DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS, <br />AND DETERMINING LIQUIDATED DAMAGES <br /> <br />BEL AIR WAY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. That those certain plans, profiles, de- <br /> <br />tailed drawings and specifications for the improvement <br /> <br />of Bel Air Way in the City of Redwood City entitled <br /> <br />"Contract Document and Specifications for Bel Air Way <br /> <br />Improvements" and "Bel Air Way Plan and Profile" and <br /> <br />Easement Acquisition Plat entitled "Proposed Easements <br /> <br />for Storm Drainage and Sanitary Sewer" relating to said <br /> <br />improvements, as prepared by the City Engineer of Red- <br /> <br />wood City and presented to the City Council on May 13, <br /> <br /> <br />1968, be and they are hereby approved and ordered filed <br /> <br />in the office of the Clerk of said City. <br /> <br />2. The Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />hereby determines that if the contractor performing the <br /> <br />abovementioned work does not complete such work within <br /> <br />the time limit specified in the contract therefor or <br /> <br />within such further time as this Council shall author- <br /> <br />ize, such contractor shall pay to the City liquidated <br /> <br />damages in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per day <br /> <br />for every working day after the established completion <br /> <br />date plus the actual cost of inspectors and engineering <br /> <br />costs incurred by the City as a result of such delay. <br /> <br />Any moneys received by the City on account of such <br /> <br />liquidated damages shall be applied as provided in <br />Section 5254.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, State <br /> <br />of California. <br /> <br />*** *** *** <br />
