S701 RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABANDONING EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER AND STORM DRAINAGE PURPOSES IN LOT 21, BLOCK 206, "HIGHLANDS OF EMERALD LAKE SUBDIVISION TWO, II REDWOOD CITY WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing at ~50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, by its Resolution No. 5683, adopted May 6, 1968, declared its intention to vacate an easement for sanitary sewer and storm drainage purposes: and WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice of intention to vacate and abandon the above mentioned easement for sanitary sewer and storm drainage purposes has been published and posted; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the hereinafter described easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. 2. The above mentioned portion of the easement for sanitary sewer and storm drainage purposes which is to be abandoned is described as follows: All that certain easement designated "Easement for drain and sewer, 10' wide" within Lot 21, Block 206, as said easement, lot and block are designated on that certain map entitled IIHighlands of Emerald Lake Subdivision Two," which map was filed for record October 18, 1926, in Volume 14 of Maps at pages 37 and 38, in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California. 3. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby orders the vacation of the above described easement for sanitary sewer
