S701 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABANDONING EASEMENT FOR <br />SANITARY SEWER AND STORM DRAINAGE PURPOSES IN LOT 21, <br />BLOCK 206, "HIGHLANDS OF EMERALD LAKE SUBDIVISION TWO, II <br />REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing <br /> <br />at ~50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the <br /> <br />Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, <br /> <br />by its Resolution No. 5683, adopted May 6, 1968, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate an easement for sanitary sewer and storm <br /> <br />drainage purposes: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice of intention <br /> <br />to vacate and abandon the above mentioned easement for sanitary <br /> <br />sewer and storm drainage purposes has been published and posted; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described easement is unnecessary for present or <br /> <br />prospective public use. <br /> <br />2. The above mentioned portion of the easement for sanitary <br /> <br />sewer and storm drainage purposes which is to be abandoned is <br /> <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />All that certain easement designated "Easement <br />for drain and sewer, 10' wide" within Lot 21, <br />Block 206, as said easement, lot and block are <br />designated on that certain map entitled <br />IIHighlands of Emerald Lake Subdivision Two," <br />which map was filed for record October 18, 1926, <br />in Volume 14 of Maps at pages 37 and 38, in <br />the office of the Recorder of the County of <br />San Mateo, State of California. <br /> <br />3. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby orders <br /> <br />the vacation of the above described easement for sanitary sewer <br />
