f REG: yc :4/27/61 -7 "d ��SII t R E S O L U T I O N N O. ►._3 if RESOLUTION :SETTING FORTH THE PETITION AND REQUEST OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED TERRITORY WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory is owned by the City of Redwood City, is not contiguous thereto, does not exceed 100 acres in area, lies in the same county as that in which the City of :redwood City is situate, and is used by the City for a muni- cipal purpose, to wit: for municipal water service purposes; and WHEREAS, it is the desire and request of the Council of the City of Redwood City that said - territory be annexed to the City of Redwood City pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 (commencing at Section 35200). Chapter 1, Part 2, Division 2, Title 4, of the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Boundary Commission has con- sidered the boundaries of the proposed annexation and approved the same by Resolution No. 643, passed and adopted the 20th day of April, 1961; NOW, THEREFORE.- BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That this Council does hereby petition and request the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo to cause the here- inafter described territory to be annexed to the City of Redwood City in accordance with the provisions of Article 3, Chapter 1, Part 2, Division 2, Title 4, of the Government Code of the State of California . 2. That this Council does hereby designate said territory as follows: "Oakview Way Reservoir Annexation." 3. That the territory hereinabove referred to and designated "Oakview Way Reservoir Annexation" is all that territory situate in the County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
