_A, -- .....:.- •' �^ REG : yc :4/24/61 -7 <br />R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N 0. <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LEASE <br />OF CONCESSION AREA IN HAWES PARK <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No. 3339, adopted <br />March 20, 1961, bids were called for the proposed lease of the <br />concession area in that certain City -owned parcel of real property <br />situate at the corner of Hudson Street and Oak Avenue, commonly <br />known as Hawes Park; and <br />WHEREAS, said call for bids was published in accordance with <br />law, and two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Helena Ervine, doing business as Ar -Dee <br />Foods, 1461 Laurel Street, San Carlos, for a sum computed at <br />twelve per cent (12 /0) of the gross receipts from sales made by <br />Lessee, was the highest bid received; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council finds that it is in the best interests <br />of the City of Redwood City to award said bid to Helena Ervine, <br />doing business as Ar -Dee Foods; <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Helena Ervine, doing business as Ar -Dee Foods, <br />for a sum computed at twelve per cent (12/) of the gross receipts <br />from sales made by Lessee, in response to and in accordance with <br />and subject to the terms and conditions of said call for bids, is <br />hereby accepted and determined to be the highest responsible bid. <br />2. That certain lease agreement entitled "Agreement - Lease <br />of Concession Area - Hawes Park," a copy of which is on file with <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br />particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
