0 0 <br />R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N 0 . <br />R ESOLUTION OF PRELIMINAR DETERMINATION <br />ADAMS STREET CULVERT <br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that <br />it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public convenience <br />and necessity require, and that it intends to order, the following <br />work to be done and improvements to be made in and for said City, <br />to wit: <br />All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at <br />the places and in the manner, and to the lines, grades and ele- <br />vation, as shown upon the plans, profiles and specifications <br />made therefor and on file in the office of the City Engineer of <br />Redwood City, <br />Said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion of <br />said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public bene- <br />fit, and said Council does hereby make the cost and expenses of <br />doing such work and improvement chargeable upon a District, which <br />District said City Council declares to be the District benefited <br />by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the entire <br />-1- <br />(1) The improvement of Adams <br />, <br />Street consists of removing the ex- <br />isting wooden structure; the con - <br />struction of a reinforced concrete <br />3P <br />culvert five feet (5 high, twelve <br />a� <br />feet (1.2') wide and fifty, more or less, <br />' <br />feet (50+/ - long; complete with <br /># _ <br />concrete sacked riprap wingwag, <br />four foot (4 high cyclone fence on <br />each end, and concrete curb, gutter <br />� <br />and sidewalk together with com - <br />*� <br />pacted backfill to subgrade. <br />1 <br />(2) The mecon,struction of n.e -ces- <br />sary concrete curb, gutter, and side- <br />walk. <br />' <br />(3) The construction of two (2) <br />concrete catchbasins, Type A -1 with <br />necessary appurtenances. <br />(4) The construction of two -inch <br />(2 ") plant -mix surfacing over six <br />- <br />inches (6) of crusher -run rock base, <br />including tack coat, paint binder and <br />fog seal, together with necessary <br />«.: <br />plant -mix feathering. <br />r4 <br />(5) The construction of a six -inch <br />(6 cast iron pipe sipyhon, including <br />:. <br />two (2) brick manholes and any <br />' <br />necessary appurtenances. <br />(6) The construction and' installa- <br />tion of all work, and the furnishing <br />of all labor and materials necessary <br />k"a <br />liary ter, or which may <br />be reasonably equired to complete <br />� <br />..:: <br />any of the work provided to be done <br />in paragraphs 1 to 5 above. <br />All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at <br />the places and in the manner, and to the lines, grades and ele- <br />vation, as shown upon the plans, profiles and specifications <br />made therefor and on file in the office of the City Engineer of <br />Redwood City, <br />Said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion of <br />said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public bene- <br />fit, and said Council does hereby make the cost and expenses of <br />doing such work and improvement chargeable upon a District, which <br />District said City Council declares to be the District benefited <br />by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the entire <br />-1- <br />
