RESOLUTION NO. 3354 <br />RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION <br />ALLEY IMPROVEMENTS <br />ANNETTE AVENUE TO MARSH ROAD <br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, <br />that it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public con- <br />venience and necessity require, and that it intends to order, <br />the following work to be done and improvements to be made in and <br />for said City, to wit: <br />The improvement of the alley between Annette <br />Avenue and Marsh Road included in Friendly <br />Acres Subdivision No. 2, Block 2, by construct- <br />ing and installing therein the following: <br />(1) By constructing and installing therein <br />asphaltic concrete paving on a six inch (6 11 ), <br />crusher -run rock base twenty feet (20 in <br />width from its intersection with Annette <br />Avenue to its intersection with Marsh Road, <br />complete with redwood header board and <br />Portland cement concrete valley gutters in <br />the center thereof. <br />(2) By constructing and installing therein <br />catch basins and storm drainage facilities. <br />(3) By raising and lowering all existing <br />utilities to conform to the finished grades <br />of the street paving and valley gutters. <br />(4) By constructing and installing therein <br />all work and the furnishing of all materials <br />and labor reasonably necessary to complete <br />all the work provided to be done in paragraphs <br />(1), (2) and (3) above. <br />All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at <br />the places and in the manner and to the lines, grades and eleva- <br />tion, as shown upon the plans, profiles and specifications made <br />therefor and on file in the office of the City Engineer of Red- <br />wood City. <br />Said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion of <br />said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public bene- <br />fit, and said Council does hereby make the cost and expenses of <br />-1- <br />
