• <br />REG: yc:4/3/61 -7 <br />RE SOLUT ION NO. 3346 <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS FOR <br />THE EFFICIENT OPERATION OF THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY <br />WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of this Council that <br />the Port of Redwood City is being operated in an efficient and <br />business -like manner by the Board of Port Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS, the operational policies of the Port Board and the <br />activities of the Port staff have been a credit to the City of <br />Redwood City and have reflected favorably upon the City; and <br />WHEREAS the efficient operation of the Port has resulted in <br />the Port Board' s being able to declare a substantial dividend in <br />favor of the City from the Port's revenues, which dividend consti- <br />tutes a direct benefit to the residents and taxpayers of the City <br />of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the Board of Port Commissioners of the City of <br />Redwood City is hereby commended for its efficient operation of <br />the Port of Redwood City and for its action in declaring a divi- <br />dend to the City. <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a <br />copy of this resolution to the Board of Port Commissioners. <br />
