'1 - 142 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF SIX INCH CAST IRON CEMENT LINED <br />TYTON JOINT WATER MAINS ON CERTAIN NAMED STREETS; <br />AND AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br />plans and specifications for the construction of six inch (6" ) <br />Cast Iron Cement Lined Tyton Joint Water Mains on the following <br />named streets: <br />1. Sunset Way and South Oak Park Way between California <br />Way and Oak Park Way; <br />2. California Way between Sunset Way and Paradise Way; <br />3. California Way from West California Way to a point <br />600 linear feet easterly along California Way. <br />WHEREAS,, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br />signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to <br />advertise for bids for the installation and construction of said <br />water mains; <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Six Inch Water Main In- <br />stallations, 1961 Emerald Lake System," and those certain speci- <br />fications entitled "General Specifications and Special Provisions <br />for the Construction of Six Inch (6 ") Cast Iron Cement Lined Tyton <br />Joint Water Main on: 1. Sunset Way and South Oak Way Between <br />California Way and Oak Park Way; 2. California Way Between Sunset <br />Way and Paradise Way; 3. California Way from West California Way <br />to a Point 600 Linear Feet Easterly Along California Pray. Emerald <br />Lake Water System of the Redwood City Water Department near <br />Redwood City, California," prepared by the Water Superintendent and <br />on file in the office of the Water Superintendent, are hereby approved. <br />
