L REG: yc : 3 /15/61 -7 <br />RE SOLUT ION NO. 3334 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS <br />AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF BAY ROAD FROM <br />ITS EXISTING NORTHWESTERLY TERMINUS TO CHESTNUT STREET <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized to prepare <br />plans and specifications for the extension of Bay Road from its <br />existing northwesterly terminus to Chestnut Street, such plans <br />and specifications to be completed in sufficient time to permit <br />acquisition of the necessary right of way for the purpose of con- <br />structing the improvements simultaneously with, or prior to, the <br />construction of the Route 214 Expressway between Broadway and <br />El Camino Real. <br />2. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized to transmit <br />two copies of this resolution to the Division of Highways, <br />Department of Public Works, State of California. <br />
