.1 0 0 <br />RE SOLUT ION NO. 3330 <br />REG:yc:3 /13/61 -7 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF <br />THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL MARINA, REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AND AUTHORIZING EXE- <br />CUTION OF THE AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3292, adopted January 16, <br />1961, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of im- <br />provements and enlargements to the Redwood City Municipal Marina; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br />with the City Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, OSCAR C. HOLMES, INC. is the lowest responsible <br />bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award <br />said bid to Oscar C. Holmes, Inc. on the basis of the base bid of <br />Oscar C. Holmes, Inc. and the bid of Oscar C. Holmes, Inc. for <br />Additive Alternative No. 1, and reject all other bids received; <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Oscar C. Holmes, Inc., in the amount of <br />Two Hundred Fifty -nine Thousand, Nine Hundred Thirty Dollars <br />($259..930.00),, more or less, (which amount is the total of bidder's <br />base bid of $251,930 plus bidder's bid of $8,000 for Additive <br />Alternative No. 1 as set forth in bidder's proposal) for the <br />improvement of the Redwood City Municipal Marina, according to <br />the Plans and Specifications heretofore approved by Resolution <br />No. 3292, at the written prices quoted in its proposal dated <br />March 8, 1961, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. Any informalities <br />in the proposal of Oscar C. Holmes, Inc. are hereby waived. <br />
