REG : yc : 3/6/61 -7 <br />RE <br />S GLUT <br />ION <br />NO. 3318 <br />RESOLUTION <br />OPPOSING <br />INCREASE <br />IN VEHICLE LICENSE FEE <br />WHEREAS, the County Supervisors' Association and the League <br />of California Cities, through their respective Streets and Highways <br />Committees, have recommended the active support of legislation at <br />the 1961 Regular Session of the California Legislature to increase <br />the vehicle license fee; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed such recommendation and <br />desires to signify its opposition to such tax increase; <br />NOW, THEREFORE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That this Council does hereby oppose the increase in the <br />vehicle license fee at the 1961 Regular Session of the California <br />Legislature as proposed by the above mentioned groups. <br />
