REG:yc :2 /10/61 -7 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N O. 3311 <br />RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING ANNEXED TERRITORY KNOWN AS <br />" CANC I LLA ANNEXATION" FROM EMERALD LAKE LIGHTING <br />DISTRICT AND MENLO PARK FIiRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory known as <br />"Cancilla Annexation" was annexed to the City of Redwood City <br />by Ordinance No. 989, said annexation being effective on <br />February 17 <br />, 1961; and <br />WHEREAS, said area is included in the Emerald Lake Lighting <br />District and Menlo Park Fire Protection District; <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 19290 of the <br />Streets and Highways Code of the State of California the here- <br />inafter described property known as "Cancilla Annexation" is <br />hereby declared withdrawn from the Emerald Lake Lighting District. <br />2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 14218 of the <br />Health and Safety Code of the State of California the hereinafter <br />described property known as "Cancilla Annexation" is hereby <br />declared withdrawn from the Menlo Park Fire Protection District. <br />3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of <br />this resolution to the State Board of Equalization, the San <br />Mateo County Assessor, the Emerald Lake Lighting District and <br />the Menlo Park Fire Protection District. <br />4. The withdrawal of the following described territory from <br />the Emerald Lake Lighting District and the Menlo Park Fire Pro- <br />tection District shall be effective on the date of adoption of <br />this resolution. <br />5.
