R E a O L U T I 0 N <br />RJC . ek .1/2- <br />N 0. 3298 <br />RESOLUTION AiIARDING BID FOR FURNISHING OF GASOLI <br />FOR PERIOD OF FEBRU�'.Y 1, 1961 - JANUARY 31, 1962; <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AND, AUTHORIZING <br />E`M OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br />: pursuant to Resolution No. 3282, adopted January 9, <br />1961, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of gasoline <br />for the period of February 1, 1961 to and including January 31, <br />1962, in connection with the operation of City vehicles; and, <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br />filed with the City Manager; and, <br />;REAS, Standard Oil Company of California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br />Council to award said bid to said Standard Oil Company of <br />California and reject all other bids received; <br />N0:1, THEPXFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF R D'. CITY <br />AS FCLLU ,, +IS : <br />1. The bid of Standard Oil Company of California for the <br />furnishing of Chevron Supreme Gasoline at a maximum price of <br />$.2218 per gallon and Chevron Gasoline at a maximum price of <br />$.1868 per gallon is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of ,Iedwood City <br />for the furnishing of said gasoline other than - the bid mentioned <br />in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />3. The City klana�;er is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood Cite <br />an agreement for the furnishing of said gasoline by said success- <br />ful bidder for the ,period February 1, 1961 to and includinj <br />January 31, _1 in accordance with and pursuant to the terms <br />anct conditions contained in said bid. <br />
