<br />'" . _4. - <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />y^ . <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />NO. <br /> <br />3272 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DETERMINING NOT TO EXTEND NORMAN STREET TO PALM AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, heretofore FRED HOFHEINZ and FRIEDA HOF- <br /> <br />HEINZ, his wife, conveyed to the City of Redwood City, pro- <br /> <br /> <br />perty described in Exhibit itA" attached hereto and made a <br /> <br /> <br />part hereof which deed was dated June 9, 1954 and recorded <br /> <br /> <br />June 18, 1954 in Book 2602 of Official Records of the Recor- <br /> <br />der of San Mateo County, California, at Page 513j and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such property was deeded to the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City by Mr. and Mrs. Hofheinz without cost or charge <br /> <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City for the purpose of extending <br /> <br />Norman Street from its present terminus to Palm Avenuej and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said property has not been used for any <br /> <br />public purpose since it was deeded to the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, as aforesaid, and has not been so used for any public <br />purpose for a period of more than five (5) consecutive years <br /> <br />prior to the adoption of this resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City has reconsidered the matter of the extension <br /> <br />of Norman Street and has determined by resolution of such <br /> <br /> <br />body adopted May 10, 1960 that good planning no longer re- <br /> <br />quires the extension of Norman Street from its present <br /> <br />terminus to Palm Avenuej and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, FRED HOFHEINZ and FRIEDA HOFHEINZ, his <br /> <br />wife, have requested the return of the property so deeded. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Red- <br /> <br />wood City hereby resolves as follows: <br /> <br />-1- <br />
