<br />/f <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(, <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 3257 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINI~mM WAGE SCALE <br />MARSHALL STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br />(JEFFERSON AVENUE TO MAIN STREET) <br /> <br />~iHEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood City has ascertained <br /> <br />the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality <br /> <br /> <br />in which said public work is proposed to be performed for <br /> <br />work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of <br /> <br />Intention No. 3256 , adopted I1ieem.be:r- 5~, ].960. by the Council <br /> <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and con- <br /> <br />tained in the specifications for said project, copies of which <br /> <br />are on file in the office of said Engineer and also in the <br /> <br /> <br />office of the Clerk of said City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered <br /> <br />said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City resolves as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifica- <br /> <br /> <br />tions for the above mentioned project is hereby adopted as the <br /> <br />prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar charac- <br /> <br />ter to that above described in the locality in which said <br /> <br />public work is proposed to be performed. <br /> <br />2. That no less than said general prevailing rate of per <br /> <br />diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed <br />under said Resolution of Intention No. ~~2-. <br /> <br />* * * * <br />
