<br />. -~,'n---I <br /> <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0 0 321.1-7 <br /> <br />HESOLurrION OF PRELlf"IINilRY DETEF(IVlINATION <br /> <br />IvlARSHi\LL SfTREET II'/lPROV.EIvlENTS <br />(tn~PERSoN A\/ENUE fro IVli\IN s'rHEET) <br /> <br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that it <br />does tlereby preliminarily determine that the public convenience and <br />necessity re<1uire, and tl1a t it intends to order, the following work < " <br />to be done and improvements to be made in and for said. .City, lto;W:L~:.. <br /> <br /> <br />The improvement of Marshall Street between Jefferson Avenue and Main <br />street in the City of Redwood City by constructing and installing <br />therein the following: <br /> <br />(1) Clearing, grubbing and grading to consist of removal of two <br />(2) trees, and disposal of objectionable materials, including stumps, <br />shrubbery, existing concrete sidewalk, driveways, curb and gutter. <br /> <br />(2) Removal of curb and gutter, curb and sidewalks as shown on the <br />plans or in the specifications. <br /> <br />(3) Construct necessary drainage facilities, as shown on the plans <br />or in the specifications. <br /> <br />(4) Construct standard Portland cement concrete sidewalks, co~ner- <br />cial driveways~ curb and gutter, as shown on the plans or in the <br />specifications. <br /> <br />(5) Construct twelve-inch (1211) import select material sub-base com- <br />pacted in place, as shown on the plans or in the specifications. <br /> <br />(6) Construct three-inch (3") plant-mix asphaltic surfacing on eight- <br />inch (8fl) and six-inch (611) crusher-Fun base, as shown on the plans <br />or in tbe specifications, . complete including ~~~ prime~, paint bin- <br />der and fogseal. <br /> <br />(7) Construct plant-mix asphaltic feathering of varying thickness <br />within the intersections. <br /> <br />(8) Furnish and install one lighting system complete with necessary <br />appurtenances, as shown on the plans or in the specifications. <br /> <br />(9) Furnish and install one (1) standard monument where shown on the <br />plans or in the specifications. <br /> <br />(10) The removal of all obstructions in the line of the work, and the <br />furnishing of all labor and materials auxiliary to any of the work <br />described hereinbefore which may be reasonably required to carry out <br />the same. <br /> <br /> <br />-1- <br />
