<br />....- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:lO/24/60-7 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />RESOLUT.!ON <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />3239 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR RIGHT OF 'VIAY APPRAISAL AND AC- <br />QUISITION FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF JEFFERSON <br />AVENUE BETVv~EN ADAM.S STREET AND FRANKLIN ST.REE1r <br /> <br />WHEREAS, public interest and necessity require the improvement <br /> <br />of Jefferson Avenue between Adams Street and Franklin Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with such acquisition it is necessary <br /> <br />that appraisals be secured and the services of a right of way <br /> <br />agent be obtained; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for the personal services of <br /> <br />a contractor for the above mentioned appraisals and negotiations <br /> <br />in connection with the above mentioned improvements of Jefferson <br /> <br />Avenue has been presented to and reviewed by this Council; and <br /> <br />vrnEliEAS, D. S. Fabbro is skilled in the conduct of such ap- <br /> <br />praisals and negotiations and is qualified to conduct the same <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the City; <br /> <br />NON I THEREFORE : <br /> <br />BE IT J.tESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDvlOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLO~'IS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled ItAgreement for Right of <br /> <br />'Way Appraisal and Acquisition,lt a copy of which is presently on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and condi- <br /> <br />tions thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute said contract with D. S. Fabbro, or with any person having <br /> <br />-the same qualifications as D. S.
