COM-R-2 RESOLUT1.0N N o. 3235 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY GIVING NOTICE OF, AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO, INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY; DE- SCRIBING SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE NAME II CORDILLERAS GLEN ANNEXATION GIVING ITS REASONS FOR DESIRING SAID ANNEXATION; MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS; AND, GIVING NOTICE OF THE TIME AND PLACE SAID COUNCIL WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO SAID ANNEXATION II . , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Boundary Commission of the County of San Mateo, California, a written description of a proposal to annex to the City of Redwood City all that territory which is hereinafter described; and, WHEREAS, said Council has received evidence showing that, and finds that, said written description of its said proposed annexation was filed with the Secretary of said Boundary Com- mission on October 7, 1960 , and that said Boundary Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report to said Council upon said annexation proposal, all as required by law, and that said Boundary Commission has approved the boundaries of said proposed annexation; and, WHEREAS, this Council further has received evidence showing and finds: (1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of Redwood City; and, (2) That less than twelve registered voters presently reside within said territory and that said territory is there- fore uninhabited; - 1 -
