<br />- ,.,.. <br /> <br />..~ <br />.;--- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:lO/27/60-7 <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />." <br /> <br />R !. .2 0 L U T 1. 0 N N o. 3233 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF PORTION <br />OF LOT 1, BLOCK RIn ,WOODSIDE ACRES SUBDIVISION <br />NO.1, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council, by Resolution No. 3216, adopted <br />October 3, 1960, has heretofore directed the City Clerk to call <br />for bids for the sale of that certain hereinafter described por- <br /> <br />tion of Lot 1, in Block lilli, as shown on that map entitled <br /> <br />UWOODSIDE ACRES SUBDIVISION NO.1," filed May 18, 1923, in the <br /> <br />office of the County Recorder, San Mateo County, California, in <br /> <br />Book 11 of Maps at pages 34 and 35; and <br />WHEREAS', in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, public notice of the proposed sale of <br />this property has been given at least once a week for two (2) <br />successive weeks in the Redwood City Tribune; and <br /> <br />WEEREAS, the Assessor of the City of Redwood City has ap- <br />praised the herein described property and has determined that the <br /> <br />current market value thereof is approximately Three Hundred Fifty <br /> <br />Dollars ($350.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Melbourne Davis, Redwood City, California, has <br /> <br />submitted a bid of Four Hundred Ten Dollars ($410.00) for said <br /> <br />property; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Melbourne Davis; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
