<br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />REG:yc:lO/14/60-7 <br /> <br />RES 0 L U T .! 0 N N O. <br /> <br />3230 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF NEW <br />AUTOMOBILE; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> <br />tmEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3209, adopted September 26, <br /> <br /> <br />1960, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a <br /> <br />latest model 4-door sedan, VS, automobile for purposes of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Fire Department, to replace worn out equipmenti and <br /> <br />vrnEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Manager; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LEONARD ELY MOTOR COMPANY, Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to LEONARD ELY ~lOTOR COMPANY <br /> <br />and reject all other bids received; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Leonard Ely Motor Company, for the furnishing <br /> <br />of a latest model 4-door sedan, VS, automobile to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, according to specifications heretofore approved by <br /> <br />Resolution No. 3209, at the price quoted in its proposal, to wit, <br />Two Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-nine and 45/100 Dollars ($2,659.45), <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned vehicle to the <br /> <br />City, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are <br /> <br />hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
