RESOLUT1.0N N o. 3226 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT FOR ACQUISITION OF PEID~IT FROM PACIFIC GAS AND ELECT~IC COMPANY FOR SPOILS DISPOSAL AREA; AND, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 3146 WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City intends to construct improve- ments, additions, and betterments to the Redwood City Municipal Marina adjacent to Harbor Boulevard in the City of Redwood City, and in connection therewith intends to accomplish certain dredging; and, ~rrIEREAS, Redwood city has requested of Pacific Gas and Electric Company the right to utilize its right of way along the east side of Harbor Boulevard for the disposal of spoils resulting from the abovementioned dredging; and, WHEREAS, Pacific Gas and Electric Company has consented to the utilization of such. right of way, subject to certain conditions; andl vrnEREAS, Pacific Gas and Electric Company has presented to this Council an agreement providing for its consent to the utilization of such right of way subject to certain terms and conditions for the use thereof by the City; and, tYHEREAS, this Council has reviewed said agreement and desires to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RED~vOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That certain agreement and easement for spoils disposal attached hereto, marked Exhibit HAll, and' by this reference incor- porated herein, be and the same is hereby approved. 2. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City and to assume the obligations provided for therein. 3. That Resolution No. 3146, entitled "Resolution authorizing Agreement for Acquisition of Permit from Pacific Gas and Electric Company for Spoils Disposal Area,1I adopted July IS, 1960, be and the same is hereby repealed. * * *
