<br />! <br /> <br />t <br />- ^-4 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RJC:yc:lO/5/60-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUT1,ON <br /> <br />N o. 3223 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABANDONING A <br />PORTION OF A PUBLIC SERVICE EASE~mNT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing <br />at Section 50430) of Chapter 2, Part I, Division I, 'Title 5, of <br /> <br />the Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, <br /> <br />by its Resolution No. 3203, adopted September 19, 1960, declared <br /> <br />its intention to vacate a portion of an easement designated as <br /> <br />such on that map entitled IlFarm Hill No. 2,It recorded May 23, 1956, <br /> <br />in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County in Book 45 of <br /> <br />Maps at page 21; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice has been pub- <br /> <br />lished and the portion of the easement to be vacated has been <br /> <br />posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the Ci~y of Redwood City finds (a) that <br /> <br />the "hereinafter described portion of a public service easement <br /> <br />has not been used for public service easement purposes since the <br /> <br />date of its designation as such and that (b) the easement is <br /> <br />unnecessary for present or prospective public use. <br /> <br />2. The portion of the easement to be vacated is described <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />A portion of Lot 13, Block 18, as designated on that map <br />entitled ItFarm Hill No. 2,11 recorded May 23, 1956, in <br />the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, <br />in Book 45 of Maps at page 21, being more particularly <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at the most westerly corner of said Lot 13, <br />'said corner being in the northeasterly line of Castle <br />Hill Road, 54.00 feet in width; THENCE North 690 30' <br />
