<br />I. ,7 <br />~,- '~ <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />4It RJC:ek:7/14/60-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUT.!ON <br /> <br />N o. 3145 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF NEW <br />POLICE CAR; AND, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3131, adopted June 27, <br /> <br />1960, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a <br /> <br />new four-door sedan automobile for use by the Police Department <br /> <br />for municipal purposes, to replace worn out equipment; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Manager; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, DAVIES AUTO COMPANY, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid t,o the Davies Auto Company <br /> <br />and reject all other bids received; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Davies Auto Company, for the furnishing of a <br /> <br />new four-door sedan automobile to the City of Redwood City, ac- <br /> <br />cording to specifications heretofore approved by Resolution No. 3131, <br /> <br />at the price quoted in its proposal, to wit, One Thousand Four <br /> <br />Hundred Forty-seven and 89/100 Dollars ($1,447.89), is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned vehicle to the <br /> <br />City, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are <br /> <br />hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
