That pursuant and subject to all of the terms, conditions <br /> <br /> <br />and provisions of Division 5, Part 1, Chapter 7, Sections 4010 to <br /> <br /> <br />4035 of the California Health and Safety Code and all ~mendments <br /> <br />thereto, relating to domestic water supplies, application by this <br /> <br />City be made to the State Board of Public Health, for a permit to <br /> <br />operate an existing municipally owned water system and to make <br /> <br />additions, extension or improvements thereto for the purpose of <br /> <br />distributing water for domestic and industrial'uses and for fire <br /> <br />protection purposes. <br /> <br />2. That the application recite the following facts: <br /> <br />a. The water source is water purchased from the San <br /> <br />Francisco Water Department and delivered directly <br /> <br />into the City owned distribution system through <br /> <br />metered connections to San Francisco's three bay <br /> <br />crossing transmission mains. <br /> <br />b. The area served by the Redwood City Water Department <br />is all of Redwood City, except that portion bounded <br />by Second Avenue, Bay Road, Marsh Road and Bayshore <br />Freeway which is being served by the Friendly Acres <br /> <br />Water Company, fringe areas, and the Emerald Lake <br /> <br />Area west of Redwood City. <br /> <br />c. Such additional facts as may be required. <br /> <br />3. That the Mayor of said City Council be and is hereby au- <br /> <br />thorized and directed to cause the necessary data to be prepared, <br /> <br />and investigations to be made; and in the name of said City to <br /> <br />sign and file such application with the said State Board of Public <br />Health. <br /> <br />.. <br />~\ <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />~~ <br />
