O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14303 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR STULSAFT PARK <br />RESTROOM FACILITY; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />8/13/01 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 14274, adopted July 9, 2001, the <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Stulsaft Park Restroom Facility in the City of <br />Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Zolman Construction & Development, Inc. of San Carlos, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br />this Council to award said bid to Zolman Construction & Development, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Zolman Construction & Development, Inc. in the amount of <br />One Hundred Twenty -two Thousand and No /100 Dollars ($122,000.00), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated July 24, 2001, for the <br />construction of the Stulsaft Park Restroom Facility is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br />Reso -1215 1 <br />DES:rg <br />R /Shared/Redwood/Counci <br />07/25/01 <br />
