ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> SAMARITAN HOUSE <br /> (Safe Harbor Emergency Shelter) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 3g of 2010, <br /> between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and Y and municipal <br /> Y <br /> corporation of the State of California ( "City ") and Samaritan House, a California <br /> nonprofit organization ( "Contractor "; collectively the "Parties "). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides certain services through programs, including <br /> the program described in Exhibits "A" ( "Programs "), and "B" ( "Quantitative Goals "), <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> the program described in Exhibit B, for residents of City during the fiscal year <br /> commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011 (the "Fiscal Year "); and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> Twelve Thousand and No /100 ($12,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br /> fiscal year commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011, solely for the <br /> purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS; ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW. Contractor will use the <br /> funds provided pursuant to Paragraph 1 solely for the Project purposes described in <br /> Exhibit A ( "Programs ") and Exhibit B ( "Quantitative Goals "), attached hereto and by this <br /> reference incorporated herein. <br /> 3. CHANGES TO PROJECT. No changes in the Project described in this <br /> Agreement which is funded by the financial assistance provided under Paragraph 1 will <br /> be made without the prior written consent of City. <br /> ATTY /AG R/2010.072 <br /> 073010 1 <br />
