'1191 adopted 9/12/60 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF SELF- PROPELLED <br /> TRAFFIC LINE MARKER; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3181, adopted August 15, <br /> 1960, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a <br /> self - propelled traffic line marker necessary for municipal pur- <br /> poses; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Manager; and <br /> WHEREAS, EDWARD R. BACON COMPANY, San Francisco, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> desire of this Council to award said bid to Edward R. Bacon <br /> Company and reject all other bids received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of EDWARD R. BACON COMPANY, for the furnishing <br /> of a self- propelled traffic line marker to the City of Redwood <br /> City, according to specifications heretofore approved by Resolu- <br /> tion No. 3181, at the price quoted in its proposal, to -wit Five <br /> Thousand One Hundred Seventy -four Dollars ($5,174.00), is hereby <br /> accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder. <br /> 2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned self - propelled <br /> traffic line marker to the City, other than the bid mentioned <br /> in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> * * * <br />
