41, ilo tJ <br /> RESOLUTION NO.190 adopted 9/12/60 <br /> TERMINATING PROCEEDINGS <br /> ADAMS STREET CULVERT <br /> WHEREAS, Council of Redwood City did, on July 25, <br /> 1960, adopt a Resolution of Intention No. 3150 determining to <br /> make certain improvements in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS said Resolution of Intention established a <br /> public hearing on August 22, 1960; and <br /> WHEREAS said hearing was held on August 22,1960, <br /> and duly and regularly continued until August 29, 1960; and <br /> WHEREAS numerous residents and property owners in <br /> the area proposed to be assessed to pay a portion of the costs <br /> of said improvements have filed written protests; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City finds, <br /> orders, and determines as follows: <br /> 1. That protests in writing have been made by <br /> the owners of more than one -half in area of <br /> the property proposed to be assessed to pay <br /> a portion of the costs of the improvements <br /> as described in Resolution of Intention No. <br /> 3150, by the Council of Redwood City, on <br /> July 25, 1960. <br /> 2. That all proceedings with respect to the <br /> construction of said improvements and the <br /> assessment of said properties as described <br /> in said Resolution of Intention No. 3150, are <br /> hereby terminated. <br /> 3. That all bids for doing the work provided to <br /> be done in said Resolution of Intention No. <br /> 3150 are hereby rejected and the Clerk of the <br /> City of Redwood City is hereby directed to <br /> return all security given by any bidder to <br /> insure execution of the contract had such <br /> contract been awarded to any such successful <br /> bidder. <br />
