40 C : e k : 3/10/c3 0 -7 R E S O L U T I O N N O. 3179 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR BROAD -vAY BREWSTER AVENUE SIGNALIZATION AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS, MRJOR CITY STREET PROJECT NO. 85; AND, AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted to this Council certain plans and specifications for the construction of Major City Street Project Jo. 85, for the construction of Broadway - Brewster Avenue signalization and other improvements, in the City of Redwood City; and, WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the sane and desires to signify its approval tereof and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the construction thereof; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Those certain specifications entitled "General Specifications and Special Provisions for the Construction of Broadway - Brewster Avenue Signalization and Other Improvements in the City of Redwood City, California, August, 1900," prepared by the City Engineer and on file in the office of the City Engineer, are hereby approved. 2. Those certain plans entitled "Broadway- Brewster Avenue Signalization and Other Improvements," prepared by the City Engineer and on file in the office of the City Engineer are hereby approved. 3. The City Clerk, upon approval of the abovementioned plans and specifications by the State of California, Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the construction of said Broadway- Brewster Avenue signalization and other improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain "Notice to Contractors" set forth in the abovementioned specifications. * * *
