• • <br /> R E S O L U T I ON N 0. 3170 adopted 8 /1/60 <br /> AWARDING SALE OF BONDS <br /> JONES COURT <br /> RESOLVED, by the Council of Redwood City, as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. <br /> 3120, adopted by said Council on June 27, 1960, and pursuant <br /> to Resolution No. 3134 adopted by said Council on June 27, <br /> 1960, ordering sale of bonds, a notice of sale of improvement <br /> bonds was duly given. <br /> 2. That Monday, August 1, 1960, at the Supervisors <br /> Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, Cali- <br /> fornia, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., was the time and place fixed <br /> for opening bids for the sale of said bonds. <br /> 3. That bids for the sale of said improvement bonds <br /> have been received and duly opened and declared by the Council. <br /> 4. That all written bids received for the sale of <br /> said bonds except the bid next herein stated have been and they <br /> hereby are rejected, and that said bonds be and they hereby are <br /> ordered sold to <br /> First California Company <br /> as the highest responsible bidder therefor, with interest to <br /> the date of delivery of said bonds; said sale to be subject to <br /> all the terms and conditions set forth in said resolution <br /> calling for bids and in said accepted bid. <br /> 5. That the interest rate of said bonds is hereby <br /> fixed at „5 per cent (s. ()) per annum, said rate being as <br /> set forth in the successful bidder's proposal. <br /> 6. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have <br /> said bonds printed forthwith, and said bonds shall be signed, <br /> -1- <br />
