CI OF THE R 4; <br /> EE IT RESOD "v�D �_ THE �OiTi:,,,1L O =� CITY 0� REDWOOD CI..'Y: <br /> TvFYRYAS, on the 6th day of June, 1960, the 7ouncil of the City <br /> of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 3099, giving notice of, and <br /> declaring its intention to, initiate upon its own motion the an- <br /> nexation to the City of Redwood City of that certain territory <br /> designateu. as " dgecliff Annexation "; and <br /> R?RRi AS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has <br /> found, and again finds that a written description of the proposal <br /> to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with <br /> the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo County, <br /> California, on I"ay 12, 1960, and that said Boundary Conix ission <br /> has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said proposed <br /> annexation as required by law, and that said Boundary Commission <br /> has al proved the boundaries of said proposed annexation; and has <br /> received evidence showing and has found, and again finds, that the <br /> aforementioned action of the Council initiating the annexation of <br /> the herein described territory, upon its own motion, was not com- <br /> renced until after said written description of the proposal for <br /> said annexation was filed with the Secretary of the San Mateo <br /> County Boundary Commission, and until after said Commission made, <br /> or caused to be made, its report and approved said boundaries; and <br /> T. - 'AS, this Council has further received evidence showing, <br /> and finds: <br /> (1) That said territory is situate irrir ediately adjacent to <br /> and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br /> Redwood City; and <br />
