R EG • a rc : E, /3 /F ., O — 7 - , • • • RESOLUTION No. 3097 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF ORDI TANCE N0. 631, BEI1 THE STIB- DIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 631, being the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, the Planning Commission has received and reconmended approval of the application of ':;'illiam P. Garrison and _Ruth P. Garrison for an exception to the provisions of Section 5.31 of said Ordinance ITo. 631, to allow the subdivision of certain property located at 1816 Roosevelt Avenue near Ruby Street, Redwood City, to create two lots, one of which would have a width of twenty feet instead of the required fifty feet and one of which would sleet all requirements of Ordinance 7o. 631; and ;TE the property for which application to subdivide is made is all that certain real property situated in the City of Red City, County of San I-ateo, State of California, described as Parcels A and B in that description narked "Exhibit A," attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out at length herein, which parcels are a portion of Lot 27 as shown on that certain map entitled "Wooster, Whitton & Yontggnery's Subdivision of a Part of the Redwood Farm," filed in the office of the Recorder of San I•_ateo County on July 9, 1902, in Book "E" of i_aps, at page 31; and ;uET .EAS, said applicant has submitted a tentative map of the proposed subdivision in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance Yo. 631 and said map has been recennended for approval by the Planning Commission and has been reviewed by the Council of the City of Redwood City; and ; ITFiREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported to this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist which affect said property; that the exception applied for is nec- essary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property
