REG:ye:S 19 60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3090 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CCNTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF NEW <br /> POLICE CAR; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3066, adopted May 2, 1960, <br /> the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a new four - <br /> door sedan automobile for use by the Police Department for munici- <br /> pal purposes to replace a police automobile which has been totally <br /> damaged; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Manager; and <br /> WHEREAS, ELY MOTOR COMPANY, Redwood City, California, is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> this Council to award said bid to Ely Motor Company and reject <br /> all other bids received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITf <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Ely Motor Company, for the furnishing of a <br /> new four -door sedan automobile to the City of Redwood City, ac- <br /> cording to specifications heretofore approved by Resolution <br /> No. 3066, at the price quoted in its proposal, to -wit Two Thousand <br /> Two Hundred Thirty -three and 91/100 Dollars 22,233.91), is hereby <br /> accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest res- <br /> ponsible bidder. <br /> 2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned vehicle to the <br /> City, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are <br /> hereby rejected. <br />
