O r" . • REG:yC:4 /11/60 -7 k <br /> RE S OLUT I ON NO. 30+7 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> TERMINATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS DESIGNATED "EDGEWOOD <br /> ANNEXATION NO. 1 -A," INITIATED PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION <br /> NO. 2996 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1 of <br /> Part 2, Division 2, Title 4 of the Government Code of the State <br /> of California relating to the annexation of uninhabited territory <br /> this Council, on its own motion, initiated proceedings to annex <br /> to the City of Redwood City certain uninhabited territory by the <br /> adoption of Resolution No. 2996 on March 2, 1960; and, <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Chapter 1, a <br /> public hearing for the hearing of protests to said annexation <br /> was set by said Resolution No. 2996 for April 18, 1960; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Section 35007 of the Government Code of the State <br /> of California authorizes this Council to terminate annexation <br /> proceedings at any time prior to the date set for the hearing <br /> of protests; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby <br /> terminate all annexation proceedings taken in connection with <br /> Edgewood Annexation 1 -A as initiated by Resolution No. 2996. <br /> * * * <br />
