411 110 REG:yc :4 /18/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3046 <br /> RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE REDWOOD CITY TRIBUNE AND THE <br /> STAR. ADVERTISER FOR THEIR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY SIX YEAR PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the forthcoming election the Six <br /> Year Plan Committee has presented a plan of improvements necessary <br /> to the growth and progress of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Six Year Plan program has received the generous <br /> support of the Redwood City Tribune and of the Star Advertiser and <br /> has had the benefit of a careful, honest and accurate coverage by <br /> these newspapers; and <br /> WHEREAS, the public spirited attitude of these newspapers is <br /> deserving of the praise and commendation of this Council; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the Redwood City Tribune and the Star Advertiser are <br /> hereby commended for their accurate coverage of the Six Year Plan <br /> and for their interest and active participation in the growth and <br /> progress of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit copies <br /> of this resolution to the Redwood City Tribune and the Star Adver- <br /> tiser. <br /> * * <br />
