4-- • R: G :yc :L4 X11 /b0- , <br /> RESOLU TI ON NO. 304 <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING CANVASSING 3CARD TO <br /> CAYVASS ABSENT VOTER BALLOTS FOR THE <br /> APRIL 12, 1960, MUNICIPAL ELECTiOZ <br /> WHEREAS, a large number of voters have applied for and <br /> received absent voter ballots for the April 12, 1960, Municipal <br /> Election; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to facilitate the <br /> orderly counting of said absent voter ballots; and <br /> ?WHEREAS, the City Clerk has appointed six voters to constitute <br /> a canvassing board for absent voter ballots and has presented the <br /> names of said six voters to this Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires ti confirm said appointments <br /> made by the City Clerk; <br /> NUT, THEREFORE: <br /> PE <br /> IT RESOLVED BY THE C OTJ C IL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That there is hereby established a canvassing board for <br /> absent voter ballots received in connection with the Municipal <br /> Election of April 12, 1960. <br /> 2. That the canvassing board shall be composed of four members <br /> and two alternate members and shall meet on April 18, 1960, at the <br /> hour of 5 o'clock p.m. in the City Clerk's office. <br /> 3. That the below named persons are hereby appointed by the <br /> Council to constitute such canvassing board: <br /> a. Mrs. Charlotte Y. Koch, 3503 Page Street <br /> b. Mr. E. G. Robie, 1271 Crompton Road <br /> c. Yrs. Lillie Locatelli, 40 King Street <br /> d. Mrs. Margaret Travers, 19 Eagle Hill Terrace <br /> e. I'rs.
